FINISHED TRIANGLE

Make 4 of each of the 3 colours which will give you a total 12 triangles. (Or as many as you require for your bunting).

Border – Try not to crochet to tight doing the border.

You will be working down the left hand side around the posts and up the right hand side around the posts.

1st row

With right side of your work facing start at the top left hand corner and make 1 chain with Aspen around the post.  1 double crochet around the same post as the chain, 2 double crochet around the 1st post of the next row, 1 long stitch around the 3rd post in the next row (long stitch – wrap the yarn around the hook once, put the hook around the 3rd post wrap yarn around hook and pull yarn through, wrap yarn around hook and take off the loop pulled through, yarn over, take off 2 loops, yarn over and take off the last two loops see photos below), *2 double crochet around the 1st post of the next 2 rows, 1 long stitch in the next row* repeat from *-* 4 times, 2 double crochet around the 1st post in next 4 rows (you will now be at the point of the triangle), 1 double crochet at the point, 2 double crochet around the post of the first 2 rows going up the right hand side, repeat from *-* 5 times, 2 double crochet around the post of the next 2 rows.
